Sherry's Narrow Mind

Frank asked me if i grew up in the States because of the American accent of my English. Though it wasn't the 1st time of me getting such question, i doubted it somehow still. I don't think that i can speak particularly well; the advantage of mine is that I know how to imitate, I suppose.

Probably it has something to do with me born as a Hakka. As surprised as others are, I found it amazing also that I can learn Cantonese by watching TV series. Of course, my Cantonese ain't perfect, but I'm still happy about being able communicate in such language when I feel like doing so. oh well...needless to say, I'm sure a weirdo. =P

I surely don't think that I have any so-called talent for linguistics, because I don't quite remember much about French after classes for couple months. Besides, Hakka, Taiwanese, and Cantonese ain't quite official languages, so I guess they wouldn't do me much good anyway. Should I pick up Japanese again? Or maybe German? alrite, i know that i'm being greedy for too many dreams....but, isn't it good, in a way, so that we'd know what to look forward to?

hummmmm.....straying from the main subject again....anyway, why would it matter? lol....
