Well...though it's late, I still wanna talk about what happened earlier in the farewell party for Bernice.
Although Rebecca did tell me about the leaving of Thomas, I didn't imagine that he would talk about it in the party tonight. I mean, he almost made the party for himself! Probably b/c of the alcohol, Thomas seemed a bit sad and lost about his leaving. Both Rebecca & I felt that he got more to say, however, according to where I stand on my path and the future plan right now, I can't say no more.
Apparently, I felt a bit guilty when he kept telling me something like...Sherry, you will be able to handle my accounts after my leaving. Sherry, you can do it. Sherry, you will have more opportunities since i'm not holding the position.
For God's sake! I can't even tell the difference between tricot & nylon; woven & knitted, and you expect me to handle those upcoming difficulties? I really wish I had a chance to tell him that i'm not as good as he thinks. Or at least, i wish i had the courage to tell him that my interest isn't in this.
Anyhow, since i promised Grand Hyatt to start my new career on 3/20, i won't hesitate to give Thomas my resignation. However, since Thomas, Rebecca, & I all schedule to leave at the end of Feb., what is Weinser going to assume? Like what Michael, Ginger, & Emerald did to TH USA? Well, I can be honest and tell them that i'm going to the hotel industry, but so what? They are definitely going to hate us, for leaving 3 major accounts, Cabela's, Gander Mountain, and Dick's, to them. To be honest w/ whomever is reading this, I really don't think the rest of the group is going to be okay with this.
This may not be a great moment to hand in my resignation. This may hurt Thomas' feeling b/c he expects me to be able to back up the department. Oh well, people got different expections for their lives, and i know my path.
though feeling bad still, i still care about my own future, just like why Thomas is going to join Michael's new company. I believe that he'll understand. Hopefully he'll understand.
